Faux Table Tops
Faux surfaces should be cleaned on a regular basis with mild soap and water and a sponge or soft cloth. Follow with a rinse of clean water. If necessary, use a mild abrasive cleaner to release any embedded dirt. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Cast Table Tops
Clean with a mild soap and water using a sponge or rag. A clear liquid automotive wax may be applied 1-2 times a year to protect finish.
If the finish becomes scratched or chipped, first sand the affected area lightly with fine steel wool or 400 to 600 grit sand paper for better paint adhesion. Wipe clean the area to be painted. Holding the can 8 – 10 inches away from the area, apply thin coats of paint, allowing ample time for paint to dry between coats. Do not try to cover the area with the first coat as it may result in runs in the paint, change in the surface texture or the gloss of the finish. Cover any adjacent areas to avoid over spray. A separate surface and using a small artist brush, cover the affected area.
If you are working with a finish that consists of multiple colors you may want to test on a piece of cardboard or other material. Start with the “base” coat, holding the can 8 – 10 inches away apply light coats and allow to dry 3 – 5 minutes. Next, maintaining the same distance, apply light spurts of the color until the desired look is achieved. If the area becomes too light, after the finish has dried, apply a light dusting of the base coat.
Tip: Always store your touch-up paint upside down to avoid the nozzle from becoming plugged.
Glass Table Tops
Clean glass regularly with a soft cloth and a solution of mild soap and water. Follow with a rinse of clean water. If necessary, use a mild abrasive cleaner to release any embedded dirt. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Granite Table Tops
Clean granite regularly, with a soft cloth and a solution of mild soap and water. Follow with a rinse of clean water. If necessary, use a mild abrasive cleaner to release any embedded dirt. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Using a soft cloth, clean with two tablespoons of mild liquid soap to one gallon of warm water. Use toothpaste or gentle abrasive to remove scuffmarks. DO NOT USE solvents, janitorial cleaner, alcohol-based cleaners/protectants, scouring agents, undiluted bleach, gasoline or ammonia base cleaners on the straps or vinyl table rim material. Using these products may cause discoloration.
If the area of use has the possibility of high concentration of acid rain or smog, monthly cleaning of the straps is recommended. Allowing a buildup of suntan and sun block lotions and oils can be harmful to the straps. If these conditions are present, clean the area with mild soap and water, and consider the use of a towel on the area when these products are in use.

Aluminum frames offer exceptionally easy maintenance. To maintain the appearance of your Homecrest Outdoor Living furniture, regular care and maintenance of the aluminum frames is recommended. Coordinate the care of frames with the amount of use or exposure to the elements or use conditions.
Cleaning
Wash or spray down the frames with clear water or with mild soap and water to remove dust, pollens, chemicals, salt water, dirt, etc. Avoid the use of any abrasive cleaners and power washers.
Maintenance
To maintain the finish of the painted surface apply a coat of clear liquid car wax at least once a year for additional protection from the outdoor elements. Overtime the finish may dull, just the same as if a car is not waxed. Use of the wax will retain or repair an exposed finish.
Coastal Environments
Product that is in use in a coastal environment may experience additional demands on the surface finish due to the salt air. A weekly or biweekly cleaning of product is recommended to clean away any buildup of salt residue and the possibility of oxidation. Quarterly waxing of the finish is recommended, to maintain a strong finish that will withstand the demands of this type of environment. If regular maintenance is not preformed and the finish experiences blistering the warranty on the finish would be void.
Storage
If the climate of your area experiences freezing conditions do not store any product upside down. Moisture can accumulate in the frames and when frozen can crack, distort or break the frame tubing.

General Information on Fabric Maintenance
The life of your fabric depends on how it is cared for and maintained. The use of certain sun blocks and suntan lotions, which can contain harsh chemicals, may permanently discolor or damage a fabric. To help keep your furniture from unnecessary wear store your cushions when not in use or to cover them with a breathable furniture cover. It is important to clean your products regularly and as promptly as possible after being exposed to outdoor lotions, debris and sprays.
PVC (Polyester Vinyl Coated) and Specialty Weave PVC Fabrics
For suntan lotion, oils and soiled cushions, use a solution of 1 cup of solid liquid detergent in warm water. If mildew is present, treat with a solution ratio of 1 cup chlorine bleach to 3 gallons of water, soaking the affected area if necessary. For other oils or grease, treat with rubbing alcohol or a degreaser. Berry juices, blood and wine should be cleaned with ammonia a strong liquid detergent and warm water. Always test the cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area for fade and color stability prior to washing. Always rinse the item being washed thoroughly to remove any of soap residues. Shake briskly to remove any excess moisture and allow to air dry.
Tip: Placing a cushion on its side will allow the water to drain faster and the cushion to dry faster. Never use a commercial washer or dryer to clean cushions or slings.

Clean any affected areas as soon as possible with a mild liquid soap and warm water. If the area remains slightly stained, add 1 cup of chorine bleach to the cleaning solution and repeat the process, using a soft brush if necessary. Always rinse thoroughly, to remove any of soap residues. Shake briskly to remove any excess moisture and allow to air dry.
Tip: Placing a cushion on its side will allow the water to drain faster and the cushion to dry faster. Never use a commercial washer or dryer to clean cushions or slings.
100% Acrylic and Acrylic/Polyester Blended Fabrics
Using a mild liquid soap and warm water, spot clean the affected area. Use a soft brush or rub the affected area briskly to address the soiled area. For fabrics that are 100% Acrylic the use of ½ cup of chlorine beach to the mild soap solution may be used to treat mildew and more aggressive stains. Always rinse the item being washed thoroughly, to remove any of soap residues. Shake briskly to remove any excess moisture and allow to air dry.

Currently Homecrest does not offer replacement glass, but you can find a local glass replacement vendor who can cut a new table top for you. We suggest
1⁄4” tempered glass similar to the thickness of many Homecrest table tops. It’s also a good idea to get several estimates as prices will vary.
- While assembling my new Homecrest furniture I noticed that a piece was missing. How do I get a replacement piece?
To obtain a replacement piece for your Homecrest furniture contact your dealer, as soon as you notice the
piece is missing. In most cases the piece can be found at the dealer or they may even have a spare.
- The strap on my chair is broken. What do I do now?

- I want to replace my slings/cushions. What do I do if the same fabric isn't available?
It’s always a great idea to update your look when replacing slings/cushions, but if you only have one or two to replace you can always choose a
