Use & Care
- Are my cushions and pillows machine washable?
Homecrest does not recommend machine washing cushions or pillows (Please refer to question 2).
- How do I clean my slings and fabrics?
To keep your cushions and pillows looking new, refer to the appropriate fabric section below.
NEVER use a power washer on the frame or fabric of your Homecrest furniture.
- Comfortext, Acrylic, Polyester Blends, and Sensation
Address stains promptly. Use warm water with a mixture of strong liquid detergent and chlorine bleach
(one cup to three gallons of water). Always rinse thoroughly. Pat to remove excess water and allow to air dry.
- Acrylics, Acrylic Blends, and Olefin Blends
Address stains promptly. Add 1/2 of chlorine bleach per three gallons of mild soap solution.
Always rinse thoroughly. Pat to remove excess water and allow to air dry.
- Acrylic Prints and Polyester Prints
Address stains promptly. Use a solution of lukewarm dishwashing liquid. Sponge thoroughly with clear water.
Pat to remove excess water and allow to air dry. Do not use harsh cleaners or bleach on printed fabrics.
- How do I clean my aluminum furniture?
Periodically hose down (NEVER use a power washer on the frame or fabric of your Homecrest furniture)
or wash product with mild soap and water to help remove dust, pollens, chemicals, salt water, dirt, etc. Aluminum frames offer exceptionally
eash maintenance, and should be cared for like the fine furniture it is.
Apply a coat of clear liquid car wax at least once a year to protect the frame finish on your product. For nicks and scratches, rub the affected area
lightly with fine steel wool for better paint adhesion. Wipe clean the area to be painted and apply thin coats of paint, allowing ample time
for paint to dry between coats.
- How do I clean my steel furniture?
Periodically hose down (NEVER use a power washer on the frame or fabric or your Homecrest furniture) or wash
product with mild soap and water to help remove dust, pollens, chemicals, salt water, dirt, etc.
Apply a coat of clear liquid car wax at least once a year to protect the frame finish on your product. Where humidity is high, some corrosion is
inevitable; catch it early. If corrosion has occurred, clean the area with Extend (found in most hardware stores) following manufacturer's instructions,
or clean with naval jelly, let set for a few minutes and wipe clean. Repeat if necessary.
Touch up paint application: rub the affected area lightly with fine steel wool for better paint adhesion. Wipe clean the area to be painted and apply thin
coats of paint, allowing ample time for paint to dry between coats. Contact your dealer for touch up paint.
- How do I clean my vinyl straps and vinyl table rims?
Using a soft cloth, clean with two tablespoons of mild liquid soap to one gallon of warm water. Use toothpaste or
gentle abrasive to remove scuffmarks. DO NOT USE solvents, janitorial cleaner, alcohol-based cleaners/protectants, scouring agents, undiluted bleach,
gasoline or ammonia base cleaners on the vinyl rim material. Using these products may cause discoloration.
- How do I clean my faux table top?
Clean with mild soap and water and a sponge or rag. Follow with a clean water rinse. Occasional use of mild abrasive
cleaner will release embedded dirt. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- How do I clean my cast table top?
Clean with a mild soap and water using a sponge or rag. A clear liquid automotive was may be applied 1-2 times
a year to protect finish.
- How do I clean my granite or glass top table?
Clean regularly with a soft cloth, and mild soap and water.

Many retailers maintain a stock of stylish Homecrest products so you may find a product that suits your tastes
right in their inventory. If you decide to order products designed to your personal specifications, the turnaround time is about three to four weeks.

- If the glass on my table top breaks how do I get it fixed or replaced?
Currently Homecrest does not offer replacement glass, but you can find a local glass replacement vendor
who can cut a new table top for you. We suggest 1⁄4” tempered glass similar to the thickness of many Homecrest table tops. It’s also a good idea
to get several estimates as prices will vary.
- While assembling my new Homecrest furniture I noticed that a piece was missing. How do I get a replacement piece?
To obtain a replacement piece for your Homecrest furniture contact your dealer, as soon as you notice the
piece is missing. In most cases the piece can be found at the dealer or they may even have a spare.
- The strap on my chair is broken. What do I do now?
You can purchase replacement straps at any authorized Homecrest Outdoor Living dealer.

- I want to replace my slings/cushions. What do I do if the same fabric isn't available?
It’s always a great idea to update your look when replacing slings/cushions, but if you only have one or two
to replace you can always choose a complementary fabric to enhance the look of your set.
- Is touchup paint available?
Yes, there are a number of touch up paints available. Check with your dealer to see what is currently available.

Many of Homecrest’s collections have complimentary pieces, fabrics and finishes, which makes it easy and fun

Warranty
- What does the Homecrest Outdoor Living residential warranty cover?
- Aluminum and steel frames are covered from structural failures for 15 years from date of purchase.
- The warranty on painted frame surfaces covers against peeling, flaking or blistering for a period of five years.
- Solid surface tabletops (excluding glass & acrylic) are warranted against structural failures,
finish cracks and blisters for three years when used in a residential setting.
- Vinyl strapping is warranted for three years from discoloration or breakage.
- Glider bearing hangers are warranted for three years against failure.
- The fabrics used on our cushions, slings and umbrellas are warranted for two years against tearing,
discoloration or fading when maintained per the recommended care and maintenance instructions
- The warranty of the finish on coiled steel spring rocker mechanisms, plastic parts, flex plates, glides,
swivel inserts, metal umbrellas, cords and umbrella bases is for one year from the date of purchase when maintained per the recommended care
and maintenance instructions.
- What doesn't the Homecrest Outdoor Living residential warranty cover?
- Failure caused by misuse or lack of appropriate care and maintenance of the products.
Refer to the general maintenance and cleaning instructions.
- Damage caused by caustic chemicals and/or power washers.
- Glass and acrylic table tops.
- Normal fading of fabrics, straps and painted surfaces.
- Bursting and cracking of tubing and extrusion caused by exposure to moisture and freezing temperatures.
- Damage caused by “acts of nature”.
- Return freight after one year.
- Set replacement or replacement beyond failed product.
- Salt water exposure – Due to the demands of salt air, weekly cleaning and quarterly waxing of painted surfaces
must be maintained to prevent finish blisters and corrosion. Failure to carefully follow our care and maintenance instructions will void the warranty.
- What is the policy as it relates to freight shipping?
All Homecrest Outdoor Living furniture is delivered to the carrier in factory new condition.
Claims for damage or losses that occur during shipping must be noted at the time of delivery and filed with the carrier.
